Sinopsis My Best Friend's Son

Isabel Winters, a 39-year-old New York architect trapped in an empty marriage, lets James, her best friend's 21-year-old son, stay with her during an internship. James reveals that he has loved her since his teens, and the boundary between trusted older friend and young guest collapses. When Evelyn discovers them, they face family rupture, scandal, divorce threats, and damage to Isabel's firm. James transfers his studies and publicly protects her to prove that his commitment is not a passing impulse. Isabel ultimately divorces, accepts the consequences, opens her own Hampton studio, and openly chooses their relationship at his graduation.
