Sinopsis The Devil's Contract

On the eve of her wedding, Leah catches her fiancé cheating with her adopted sister. Drunk at a bar afterward, she spends a tangled night with a mysterious woman. The next day at the church, her fiancé abandons her for his “ill” adopted sister, and her adoptive parents publicly berate her as trash. Just as Leah sinks into despair, the church doors swing open. The woman from the previous night steps forward against the backlight, her red stilettos shattering the silence. She is Zara Carrington, her fiancé’s stepmother and the legendary matriarch who rules the entire family. Zara takes Leah’s hand and stands in as the groom to complete the wedding ceremony.
