Sinopsis The Daughter

Her father died saving a hostage. Her mother took the $600,000 death benefit, remarried, and dumped seventeen-year-old Emily in the countryside—for three years, she never looked back. Her stepfather stole her Academy spot, locked her up, beat her, and tried to erase her. But in the dark, Emily found her father’s old gear—a police scanner and a tape recorder. She captured every lie. At the city’s memorial ceremony, she stormed the stage and pressed play. Justice took its time. So she took matters into her own hands.
